Service Learning: Help The Homeless

My name is Shaquille Davenport and I am here to provide you information on a Homeless group that I am representing in Constitution High School. We're a group that helps out homeless people on the street that you come across everyday. We bake goods such as cookies, cakes, and brownies, that we take over to a Homeless Shelter for them to eat.

We held a food and can drive which contained non perishable items such as canned Beefaroni, Oodles & Noodles, boxed lunches and so forth. Later we then walked over to the Homeless Shelter and passed out candy canes to show we do not discriminate against all types of people. My goal for next year is to be a little more active and start making announcements over the loudspeaker. If I had plenty of money and I could put my investments into the Shelter I would remodel the whole place because the paint is chipping off the walls, the rooms are too small, let alone the beds, and I would incorporate more activities for them to play with because their all are just cooped up in one room all day.
